Join us each month as we discuss our latest book choice. All women welcome for a relaxed and fun chat. If you haven’t picked up a book for years or if you are an avid reader, this group is for you! Our book choices will be a mixture of much-needed escapism and page-turners where women are centred. We can send you a free kindle/audible version of the book each month. Sign up and join us on Wednesday September 16th, between 7:30-8:30pm.

THIS MONTH’S BOOK

Where The Crawdads Sing, Delia Owens

About the book

For years, rumours of the Marsh Girl have haunted Barkley Cove, a quiet town on the North Carolina coast. So in late 1969 when handsome Chase Andrews is found dead, the locals immediately suspect Kya Clark, the so called Marsh Girl. But Kya is not what they say. This No.1 New York Times Bestseller is part coming of age story, and part murder mystery, and part a celebration of nature!

EVERY MONDAY

Join us at our virtual coffee morning for women to access from the comfort of their own homes. An opportunity to drop in and meet other women for a chat and cuppa! Hosted by an SRC staff member, this relaxed and informal coffee morning is the perfect chance to regain some normality during this difficult time and seek some solidarity with other survivors. This is a chance to socialise and check in with others while enjoying a cup of tea or coffee. Don’t forget the biscuits!
